Important things to know before giving SSC GD Constable Examination

Candidates who wish to serve the nation and join in the Police department can apply for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment. Every year lakhs of students appear for the GD constable paper conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.

Highlighted news of the SSC GD Constable 2019

The Recruitment for the SSC GD Constable is yet to release in the month of August 2019.
The approximate numbers of vacancies are in between 50,000 to 60,000.
Candidates must ensure they go through the complete details and then continue with the application process.
The official SSC GD Constable Notification will announce soon on the SSC website.

Eligibility Criteria

As the notification is about to release soon so candidates who are willing to apply for the SSC GD Constable must start their preparation for the exam and check criteria of educational qualification and age limit.

The aspirants should have passed 10th class or equivalent from affiliated board or institute.
The age limit of the candidate should be in between 18-23 years.
There is the age relaxation for the candidates of the revised category.

There are a total of 54953 vacancies for the recruitment of all the departments.
A total of 47307 Vacancies for the Male and 7646 Vacancies for the female candidates.

Exam Pattern

There are 5 main stages to clear the SSC GD Constable exam-

Written Exam
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Medical Exam
Document Verification

The written is objective in nature. There are a total of 100 questions with 1 mark each. The time duration for the computer-based test is 90 minutes (1 Hour 30 Minutes).
